Labman have developed many tube weighing systems. These systems have worked with all sizes of tubes, including (but not limited to) Micronics, Abgene and Matrix tubes. They are bench mountable and small for ease of laboratory use. We can custom make a system to suit your application.
Barcode reading can be incorporated to allow identification of the individual tubes for later retrieval of the weights.
The system shown in the above pictures is a simple but effective 1.4ml Micronic tube weighing system. Tubes are picked, the 2D barcode on the bottom is read and they are weighed. The system can also aspirate and dispense volumes of liquid into the tubes, or feed powder (or both). It can also cap and decap the vials. Chilled or heated racks can be provided with full computer control. Database population, import and export is automated.
