We are proud to have got all the way to the final, being chosen over hundreds of entries from all over the country.

After winning the ‘Apprenticeship Award’ at the grand final of the ‘North East Business Awards 2016’, in April, hopes were high we could go one better at the prestigious ‘National Chamber Business Awards’ held on the 25th of November.

The excellently organised event, hosted by TV presenter Gethin Jones, took place in the Brewery, London. Jamie Marsay and John Hesford made the trip South, suited and booted, to represent Labman.

We were short listed in the ‘Commitment to People Development’ category with strong competition, including the eventual winners Covey Law.

We are immensely proud to have got all the way to the final, being chosen over hundreds of entries from all over the country in itself was an achievement. It means so much to Labman being involved in this category because of the amount of time and effort we devote to staff development, without whom we don’t have a business.

Special thanks must go to the team at the North East England Chamber of Commerce who have supported us in the application process. We would like to pass on our congratulations to all the other entrants from the North East especially AV Dawson who were victorious in the ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ category.

Fingers crossed we can look at going one better next year!
