Labman took part in a recent Industrial Strategy Conference with the Secretary of State for Business, Greg Clark, at The Mansion House in London. It was attended by all 38 of the heads of the Local Enterprise Partnerships and business leaders from each area.
North Yorkshire was represented by David Kerfoot MBE, our LEP Chair, Tom McKenzie of Spark:York, Graham Jeal of Cast Iron Radiators and Andrew Whitwell of Labman. Amongst talk of employment skills, energy security and who can read all your company communications there were some good presentations and plenty of networking. The City of London hosted a very impressive dinner for 350 with excellent speeches and even time for the dash to the last train North.
