Vial Filling, Capping and Packaging System

This high throughput system is designed to fill, cap and package around 20000 vials per day. Designed to work in a clean sterile environment, the vials are used in a medically approved product.

Evotec Vial Weighing System

An automated vial weighing system incorporating an electronic analytical balance and barcode reader. Featuring a sample tray stacker attached to one end of the robot framework to increase the capacity without significantly increasing the footprint. The stacker has a capacity for up to 40 sample trays.

Micronic Tube Weigher

A bench-mounted tare weighing robot for weighing 1.4ml capacity Micronic tubes. This is one of Labman’s smaller systems with a footprint of 1200mm x 800mm. The robot bed can hold up to 16 Micronic tube racks and is designed to run overnight.

High Throughput Sterile Vial Filling System

A high throughput sterile vial filling system that fills vials with liquids such as blood plasma and viral strains. The system fills 2ml Sarstedt vials and also 4ml Nalgene vials every 3.5 seconds.

Medimmune Sample Purification Robot

The robot is used as part of the development of human monoclonal antibody therapeutics and performs the initial sample purification by passing a number of reagents through SPE columns followed by the sample. The resultant purified sample is collected in Eppendorf tubes ready for aliquoting.

Vial Weighing System

A small weighing system installed in Siena, Italy. The system weighs either Micronic vials or Wheaton vials to five decimal places. The system has capacity for nine blocks of 96 Micronic vials or nine blocks of 24 Wheaton vials. The cycle time for this system is 20 seconds per vial.

LiDCo Electrode In-fill & painting Systems

In collaboration with LiDCo, Labman developed two systems: one fills blood sensors with electrolytic gel; the other coats a polypropylene sensor with silver-based paints and holds over 400 unpainted electrodes.

Vial & Tube Filling and Capping Systems

These systems automate the production of immunology diagnostic kits and other production liquid filling systems. The systems need to fill tubes (e.g. fritted reaction tubes) with a solution sometimes with suspended particles, cap the tubes and place them into the kits or racks ready for shipping.

Vitens Automated Water Laboratory

An entire water laboratory system for Vitens Laboratorium in Leeuwarden, Holland that runs unattended overnight with results ready first thing in the morning.
