During the summer I spent at Labman I’ve gotten to experience a big part of what makes It such an amazing place to work, from the varied and engaging work to the friendly and helpful atmosphere working at Labman is an absolute blast.
One of the things that really surprised me was how much responsibility interns are given; during my summer I was able to head up the creation of a sales proposal for a customer, which involved not only creating a design for the system but also talking to customers to understand their needs. A lot of this work allowed me to learn things that they just don’t teach you at University.
Another thing that really stood out to me is just how friendly and passionate everyone is at Labman; everybody is always willing to lend a hand or help with a design. Particularly when it came to help with my own personal project (Building a house robot for my university robot fighting league), people were more than happy to help with whatever I needed.
Overall, I can guarantee that if you want an internship with real work and plenty of responsibility then Labman is exactly what you’re looking for.
