Overview
The Dual MultiDose Powder Dispenser automates the loading and unloading of 2 Mettler Toledo XPR226DRQ automatic balances with powder dosing heads, vials and vial balance adapters using a collaborative Universal Robots “UR3e” robot arm. The two balances ensure throughput is maximised and enables continued processing in the event of error.
Mettler Toledo powder dosing heads are stored on two separate carousels. SBS format vial racks are stored on either side of the system, the robot arm services both XPR balances with dosing heads and vials from both stores, providing double the storage space for powders. Vial adaptors and interchangeable gripper fingertips allow the system to process multiple vial types without operator intervention.
